My name

My pen name is my astrological sign and my real last name.  Creative, I know.  I guess that being a newbie to the internet, the thought of “exposing” myself to the world gives me the heebie jeebies.  I may, or may not, overcome my phobia.   

My background

I lived all of my life in the West until I moved to Oklahoma in 2009 - whereupon I was welcomed by (not in any particular order) tarantulas, heat waves, tornadoes, scorpions, mud, ice storms, ticks, earthquakes, chiggers, drought, a 6’-0” rattlesnake and now, and perhaps worst of all, fracking.  There are at least 25 hubs in there somewhere . . . 

In my past life, while still in civilization, I received a bachelors degree in interior design.  But I have always been interested in writing for some reason.  Ghost wrote two chapters for the book Life Force by Julie Chrystyn way back when.  Stumbled upon HubPages and decided to make it a hobby in the hope that it might become something more.    

My topics

When it comes to writing, I don’t have a particular niche in mind.  As you will see, I am interested in a broad range of subjects.  I accumulated a list of 200+ topics before publishing my first hub.  Sigh.  Mount Everest on the horizon.  How some hubbers have written over 1,000 hubs is beyond me.  

Nonetheless, my personal goal here at HubPages and my promise to readers is that my informational articles be based upon facts.  Not the kind politicians use . . . real facts.  Should anyone ever find a factual error, please tell me!
